Tryouts

Tryouts registration for Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 season

All players regardless if they are only looking to play either Fall or Spring or Both seasons are still required to register for tryouts and attend tryouts sessions. Up to two evaluations may be required.

Registration will be through nfsoccer.com – login to your sports connect account. The system will be set up with the new age Matrix and will not let you register outside of your age group.

Players will not be allowed to participate in tryouts without registering prior to date of tryout.

We are also excited to announce that we are going paperless this year! We will be using a digital evaluation system to compile player information and tryout scores.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUT OF TOWN PLAYERS
NFSC is committed to providing opportunities for New Fairfield residents to participate in our soccer program. In alignment with CJSA policy, players are encouraged to play within their town of residence unless no team is available.
 
While we welcome interest from out-of-town families, placement on an NFSC team is not guaranteed for non-residents. Priority for team placement will always be given to New Fairfield residents, regardless of tryout results. Out of town players will be required to submit an affidavit from the soccer club in the town where they reside, stating why they are unable to participate in that club.
 
We share this to be transparent: our primary focus is supporting local players, particularly those who will continue developing within the New Fairfield soccer community and progress into the high school program.

NFSC follows CJSA Youth Sports Social Media Guidelines:
By completing registration, you consent to the use of your child’s image by NFSC.
To opt out, written notice must be submitted to the NFSC Board within 14 days of registration

Clinics are for currently REGISTERED travel players only.

Goalie Academy - Fridays LMP 5-6 PM
Bring: cleats, goalie gloves, water

Specialty Clinics - Saturdays & Sundays LMP 12 - 1:30 PM (alternating topics).
$10 to attend ANY or ALL sessions
Bring: cleans, SHINGUARDS, water
