Spring Season Canceleation notice

Dear Soccer Families,

After a long discussion and consideration, along with communications with CJSA and other districts, the NWD executive board has decided to cancel the NWD sponsored spring 2020 league.  The Governor is not scheduled to provide additional guidance until May 20 (4 weeks) and unfortunately, youth sports is low on the agenda.  Waiting that long with a risk of the closure being extended is not healthy for the players, parents and administrators.  The season cancellation provides closure for everyone.  The NFSC will be issuing full refunds (minus the processing fee for a payment plan).  You will see the refunds within the next week or so.

While we are sad we cannot all be on the field this spring, we do agree with the decision of the NWD.  As of today, we are one of four districts in the state that have canceled the spring season already.  If the opportunity arises for us to get out and play, we will work on getting the kids out there and get a ball at their feet.  Until then, please check out our Facebook page and Instagram for activities for the kids.

Be well and stay safe
